Luke and Violet Rivit (Yes) are two gator twins from Louisiana whom move into the same city as the rest of the cast of that webcomic thing I have planning for forever. The two were taken from their home by the government and then placed in a foster home. They were the outcasts of their town and grew up with people clutching their purses a bit more tightly when they were around. They didn’t care though as they had each other to help each other when times got hard.
Violet is a mechanic who dreams to own and fly her own plane. With her southern drawl she can work with anything with an engine and isn’t afraid of getting messy while doing it. She has a knack for making complex metaphors and similes to describe the situation or the status of other characters like, “The situation is more slippery than a weasel run through the grease factory” or ” Yer gettin’ shifty like dad’s old gear stick”. Her luck is never the best and when she starts to fall for someone she finds that through her clumsy behavior she either stabs, breaks, or has a ball busting incident with a shark with her potential suitors. As such she has been marked bad luck and travels from town to city to commune working and saving up for a plane.

Luke Rivit is a troublemaker. Known to be highly competitive he will get into a scrap at the drop of a hat, and it can really go either way depending who he’s fighting. His abilities do not go unnoticed, and he can be popular with the ladies. Though some of the women he finds himself with are trouble, or he causes trouble being with them. Including once incident with the Sheriffs’ daughter, then wife. This has caused him to roam to town to city to commune never having a real home. And who knows how many illegitimate spawn.
